What fantastic gem in the heart of the hot springs in Beppu. All three dishes we had were excellent, perfectly-seasoned, and so well-balanced. The ingredients tasted very fresh and complemented the broths and sauces. A definite must if you are in the area!

I ordered “Dango soup”. there was a lot of vegetables but i was surprised there was noodles inside! I should call it to Dango? The soup taste was miso I think. Staff is so nice. Gochisosamadesita!!!

Manned by an old couple and their son(?) Dango jiru(oita speciality) had fresh vegetables and thick springy noodles. Soup was miso-like, with pork flavor

Homely place run by old couple. Dango jiru (oita specialty) was tasty, had fresh ingredients, and noodles were smooth and springy. Be prepared to wait though.

We were warmly welcomed by a grandmother and you could tell that the restaurant has been around for a really looooong time! Food tastes homely and yummy, easily one of the best meals we had in Beppu!

Love the gyutama don. You can also get Oita specialty, dango jiru, here. However, their noodles could be more firm and chewy
